New Collaborations
In late 2008, Kathryn joined two new ensembles specializing in improvisation and New Music: Digital Prowess and In Orbit.
Digital Prowessis a quintet which also features Jason White on piano, Richard Burrows on percussion, Tomas Bouda on double bass, and Joe Ryan on drums. In Orbit is a trio which also features Tim Turvey on drums, and Nick Bastian on guitar. Other Projects
In 2006 Kathryn formed the K-W Improvisers Collective (KWIC) with fellow musician Ted Harms. The mandate of KWIC is to promote improvising musicians and the improvised music scene in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
